A Season of Preparation (Pt. 2)

“There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—” Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP

Many people today are waiting for the day God will announce them, yet they are doing nothing with their time. Waiting for God to announce you while doing nothing is a recipe for failure.

I know God has promised you wealth, success, and influence. I know He has told you that He is sending you to the nations. But I tell you this morning, sir, the secret is not to wait idly. The secret is to maximize your time through prayer and hard work, preparing yourself where nobody sees you—because God will soon announce you.

Many of us today don’t even recognize the doors we are meant to walk through because we have been wasting our season of preparation on distractions—whether through competition with others or jealousy. I tell you this morning, sir, that God has given every man a different assignment. Therefore, you must prepare according to the measure of your assignment and destiny!

Some of us should be using this season to build quality, healthy relationships with certain people, but instead, we are wasting it competing with them. Wake up, child of God, and make wise use of your season of preparation. God is ready to help you, but first, you must prepare.

For many, your service in your local church is how you maximize this season of preparation. Do not let this generation deceive you into thinking service is unnecessary. Just because God has called a man to be a revivalist does not mean his first assignment is to hold revivals. Wake up and prepare for the dream that the Lord has shown you.

I will end with this: You already know you are in error when your first assignment becomes what you expect to do for the rest of your life.

When God calls you to be an apostle, your first assignment is not the apostolic ministry. When He calls you to be a revivalist, your first assignment is not to hold revivals everywhere. Wake up, child of God, and maximize your season of preparation.

Good morning
