Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

Last week, I shared that in scriptures, anything written before a “BUT” is often of no significance. The word “BUT” in scriptures usually indicates that a matter needs addressing.

For instance, in the description of Naaman, his might and the victories God achieved through him were mentioned, but there was still a “BUT”…

Despite his strength, he was a leper. As small as the word “but” is, it determined how he would be regarded.

But glory be to God, who can address all types of “BUTS”!

Some of you are skilled professionals, diligent and excellent, but there is a “but.”

You may be very successful, but there is a “but.”

I urge you to talk to God in prayer, asking Him to remove everything that restricts and limits you. Watch as your God works wonders.
