1 Samuel 10:11 AMPC
And when all who knew Saul before saw that he spoke by inspiration among the [schooled] prophets, the people said one to another, What has come over [him, who is nobody but] the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
One of the things the spirit of God does for anybody he possesses is that he distinguishes men with visible signs.
Saul was looking for a donkey but unknown to him, God was looking for a king.
Just before he met Samuel, he was a nobody, nobody could attribute anything to him, men only just knew him as the son of Kish. Saul was not a person of substance or value or of means.
You see, sometimes God loves to make the nobodies. Sometimes, God loves to bless the nobodies, sometimes God can decide just because he is sovereign to promote the nobodies.
God can lift a nobody to become somebody without permission from anybody. The hand of God is very long, even if you are a nobody but a son of Kish, the spirit of God can pick you out!
Samuel gave Saul prophetic directions on how he will meet a band of prophets and he will begin to prophesy and be changed to another man. It is the spirit of God that actually changes men.
If you have an encounter with God’s spirit and your life has not changed, then the encounter is likely false.
Every encounter with God changes men. Everybody that has had a defining moment in life and destiny the correct way will tell you that a day came when they truly encountered the spirit of God.
It is encounter by the spirit that brings men into their office, their ordination and their calling. From searching for donkeys, Saul became king.
I want you to pray that the Lord will encounter you by his spirit.
You can be at the back. It does not matter.
You may be broke and stranded, it does not matter.
You may be a nobody, it does not matter.
The hand of God is too long, it does not need the support of men.
God is reaching out to encounter you by his spirit!
Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
The Shift Has Come
