“Woe (judgment is coming) to him who quarrels with his Maker— A [worthless] piece of broken pottery among other broken pieces [equally worthless]! Shall the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or does the thing say, ‘He has no hands’?” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Today, we would be looking at the causes of delay in a man’s destiny, please pay attention to this wherever you are.

Have you ever bought a hanger for children’s clothe spread? We know that they don’t come in the exact way you want to use it, they are set of pieces arranged in a small carton alongside everything you need to make it stand? You would have to take it home and put the pieces together yourself to give you a proper standing hanger as displayed on the carton.

Do you know that you mixing up a small piece in a wrong place can frustrate you as you use the hanger because the piece is not fulfilling its original purpose where it is and funny enough even the person you bought it from might be as clueless as you are but then, the manufacturer did put in the carton a small piece of instruction to help you stand the hanger. Without the manual, the hangar might become useless to you.

We can liken ourselves to this hanger, if you do not fix yourself well to the exact position you are meant to be, you would just see that one area of your life for example finance is working fine and another aspect for example, health is just muddled up, one would just be frustrated in life.

Lack of spiritual alignment causes delay in one’s destiny and it can be in three ways;

• Alignment with God’s will
• Alignment with your calling, that is, if you do not function in the place of your calling you would suffer delay in destiny. My Pastor would always say “stay in your primary place of assignment”, if you do not stay in your place of calling, you are likely to work in error.
• Alignment with God’s timing, even the Bible says “There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭AMP. If you are not aligned to God’s timing, you might miss out of your purpose per time and get disqualified in destiny. Covet the gift of discernment, so as to know God’s will per time.

To align with God’s will, your calling and His timing;
Pray and pray and pray the more, until you pray, do not trust the results that you see, that is how important prayer is.

Just like the manual in the hanger, our manufacturer, God has given us the Bible which stand as our manual. This is where you discern exactly where you are supposed to fit in, read your manual, the Holy Bible carefully so you can understand well your purpose in destiny.

To hasten up your answer as you pray and your discovery as you read the Bible, the best tool is fasting. As you pray and read the Word of God, fasting fastens you discerning your purpose.

Say; Father, my spiritual antenna is heightened, I am aligned to your will, my calling and your timing as I pray, read your Word and fast in Jesus matchless name. Amen.
