Such rules are mere human teachings about things that deteriorate as we use them. These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires.

Have many of you have faced so many difficulties stopping an addictive bad habit by following laid down rules of men, like don’t look, don’t stare, don’t think about it, and so on… just 2 days later you are back at that habit or back at that position.

Guess what everything starts with God

Is the most unreasonable answer to mere men but in it lies the greatest power to abstain and refrain.

Our pastor thought us the principles behind the fear of God this Sunday, which is reverence for his awesomeness

What many don’t know is the power behind those words and what it can do

So today I’m encouraging everyone out there going through unproductive times and habits… to Choose the God factor

Yes, you never tried it …

But what’s the greatest loss for choosing that way

Absolutely nothing

Whereas what’s the Gain? everything

Indeed the world has principles and rules governing it however we have a God who set those principles before time and can bend all things for a change of your story
