Genesis 3:12 NKJV
Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

The Scripture speaks of two Adams, the first was the one created by God and put at Eden

Genesis 2:7-8 NKJV

[7] And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

[8] The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

The first Adam failed and departed from God so God had to send Jesus to become the second ( and the last ) Adam

I Corinthians 15:45 NKJV
[45] And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Understand that the fall of man was largely caused by the irresponsibility of the first husband, Adam.

Understand that God never came to man to pronounce judgement when Eve ate of the fruit. It was after Adam corperated with Eve to sin that man sinned. In fact, the eyes of Eve was not opened until her husband joined her to sin. This is why immediately Adam ate the fruit, God came. (Genesis 3:6-9)

When God started to question Adam, Adam started blaming God for giving him a wife that eventually derailed him.

Never get to a point where you cannot accept responsibility. Passing the bulk will eventually make you an irresponsible person. It is maturity to own up.

Adam would have done what Jesus did.

The moment he discovered that his wife had sinned against God, he would have offered his life as a sacrifice unto God for the sin of his wife. This is what Jesus did.

In this kingdom, Jesus is our groom and we are his bride. We had sinned and lost our relationship with God, Jesus did not blame us, he did not condemn us, he did not ignore us, he came and died for us and his blood was that perfect sacrifice that eventually restored our eternal destiny.

Ephesians 5:25 NKJV
[25] Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.

Love is not just emotions, love is also in Giving, not just the giving of things, not just the giving of flowers or material possessions, you must be willing to give self.

As you live a family life, you may not necessarily die for your wife or your children, but you must sometimes decide to bring solutions to problems brought by your wife by ignorance or rebellion.

You should be able to fix problems that are not your fault and stay with your family even when they are in error.

You must stay with them when it looks the toughest, this is ultimately how to show love.

Adam fell and instead of standing in the gap for his wife, he was still blaming her. You truly never get to enter maturity until you start learning how to consciously take responsibility.

Every family that is Bible standards had patriarchs that stood at a point to say – even if I did not cause this, I will fix it!

That is the spirit and the teaching of the scripture!

Until you study how Christ loves his bride you may never really understand what love is!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
