It is no longer news that this world is not a child’s play. It is a battlefield, you either fight victoriously or you fight defeated.
That you are a good person with good character does not mean the Devil will spare you and let you be, it’s infact the more reason you would get more attacks from him.
Our fight is not just against the physical alone says Ephesians 6vs12, but against strongholds, spiritual wickedness in high places. Now you know war has been declared on you since the day you were born and you do not prepare in battle, you prepare for battle.
So, how do you fight, with what do you fight? Our opening text says PUT ON the the WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD. Have you seen anyone going to battle without being fully girded with his helmet, shield, sword etc? Well, maybe someone like David, but he did go to the battle with something greater, which is the name of the LORD GOD of Isreal, because he had the understanding that the battle was not just physical alone, it was spiritual as well.
What now are the equipments you PUT ON to Fight for Victory? Ephesians 6:14-17.
- Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph.
- Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.
- Strap on your feet the gospel of peace.
- Take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the evil one.
- Take the helmet of salvation,
- and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Remember, you are already at war. The question now is which of these equipments do you have for yourself to fight with? Jesus has indeed fought and won the victory, it is left in your hands whether to enforce the victory with the full armour of God on your enemies or be defeated.
DECLARE BOLDLY: I enforce the victory of Christ over every battle with my mind, body, spirit, family, finance, marriage, and (as many places you want the victory) in Jesus mighty name.
