Everyone Is A Suspect.

“The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be.” Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Child of God, do not get so close to anyone that they are outside your discernment radar. This life is a battlefield, it’s either you kill or be killed. The heart of men is hopelessly dark and wicked, infact another version says it is incurable. It just naturally thrives in evil.

“For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter-in-law defies her mother-in-law. Your enemies are right in your own household!” ‭‭Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In warfare, everyone is a suspect until God clears them. Some people you consider close to you as friends and people you can rely on do not just want you to breakthrough. Some friends in school do not want you to come out on top of them, they make sure you spend time frivolously, as though without purpose.

But then we know even through our opening text that God searches and examines, till He gets to the root, the motive, and why men are doing what they do, beyond their painted faces we see, He knows who a man really is, God knows who you really are.

Your relationship with God will determine whether or not He will reveal the people aiming at your life that you consider family or friend. In the place of prayer you can discern the wickedness being planned against you. You are already in the battlefield whether you like it or not, and as Children of God we know our weapon are not carnal but are mighty through God in pulling down of strongholds.

With this power you carry in God, whatever evil afflicts your life, know that it is because you allowed it to do so. The antidote to wickedness is Power.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
