“Run away from sexual immorality [in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written]. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the one who is sexually immoral sins against his own body.”

Some of the things which God commanded us not to do are actually for our own good, but when sin has gotten hold of you, all of your spiritual and moral senses are gone.

Remaining CHASTE till after marriage among the singles and even while married to your spouse is not what we see often in our society of today. Believers now follow the trend of fornication, pornography, masturbation, and so on.

“Now, if someone desecrates God’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Some will say, after all, I am not sleeping with anyone physically, go back to our opening text, you see now, mental sex is a sin, and visual and written sex is a sin. Any form of sexual pleasure outside God’s ordained way in marriage, run from it.

“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Peradventure, you have been held bound in the shackle of sexual immoralities, it is not the end of you, God still loves you and He is patiently waiting for you with His arms open wide to receive you back to His perfect light. The Devil is very tricky, he will always tell you, you can not be free from it, it is a lie, I am a living testimony, and many other believers who are now giants in the Lord.

A number of things to avoid are; movies and posts that are sex oriented, music with vulgar lyrics, books with sexual content, and friends that would influence you back to these sexual activities.

At the end of this writing, we would pray together, but I want you to first of all pray that your mind and the way you think is always renewed by the Holy Spirit of God. Also, reach out to believers you look up to and open up, tell them about your struggles, let them pray with you, and mentor you in the way of the LORD.

Prayer

Say; Father, I thank you for your love that endures forever, I ask and receive your mercy and the renewal of my mind by the Holy Spirit to continually present my body as a living and pleasing sacrifice to you in Jesus name. Amen.
