Hebrews 10:7 KJV‬
Then said I, Lo, I come (In the volume of the book it is written of me,) To do thy will, O God.

At present, this is my favourite verse of the Bible. Every believer has not been called to live a creative life because Jesus did not live a creative life.

In this context, a creative life that involves the believer doing things that are not scriptural or part of the assignment from the beginning is not a life that the believer is called to live.

Jesus came and everything he did including the death on the cross was to fulfil prophecy.

The believer also came to fulfil prophecy. The Bible in Jeremiah 1:5 lets us know that knowledge, sanctification and ordination is possible even before a child is formed. This means, God has a well thought out agenda and ordination for every believer. You only succeed when you fulfil that which God expects of you. You succeed when you do the things that God has brought you to do.

The second side to it is, what if you do not know your calling or your assignment? Can you execute what you are not aware of? If you are in a situation where you do not know your assignment, you will not know why you were called if you do not know who called you. I want you to make a decision today to surrender your life to Jesus. Surrender to the one who calls men, this is the only way to truly do the will of God. This is the way to truly fulfil destiny.

If you want to say Yes to Jesus like I did ten years ago, I want you to say this prayer.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I recognize and accept you as my Lord and personal saviour. Come into my life Jesus, write my name in the book of life and save me from the power of sin.

If you have said this prayer, congratulations. This is the most important decision you will make in life. I will ask that you reach out to the church for counselling as God helps us to kickstart your relationship with the one who CALLS.
