1 Samuel 1:11 NLT
And she made this vow: “O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut.”

Hannah was desiring a son all her life, what she failed to realize was that God was desiring a Priest.

Eli had two sons who were not pleasing to the Lord so God was on the lookout for a replacement, God desired someone that will fill in the gap for the wayward children of Eli.

If Samuel came before the vow, it would have taken more intense divine intervention to get her to release Samuel to do the work of God. .

God had to delay her child bearing so that she is driven to a point where even though she needs a son, she recognises that God needs a priest and that the needs of God are more superior to her desires.

Some of you are still barren because Samuel is inside you. You may want a son but God wants a Samuel

Some of you are still broke because you think it’s all about you, you may want to be a millionaire but God wants a kingdom financier.

Some of you may still be trekking because you still want a car but God is in need of a mission vehicle.

God will never release anything that does not protect his interests.

God is waiting on you to give up your desires and sow them as seeds for his agenda.

The way to get God to release to you is to give it up in your heart!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
