Even the scripture tells us today that those who will be joyful and receive the reward of prosperity are those who labor, so there is literally nothing for the lazy.

You have heard the GS say he cannot pastor a broke church. This is not because he is after your money, but because even our GS is working so he cannot be prophesying over a set of lazy people who do not want to work to make wealth.

The name of Jesus is heavy, and it takes finances to lift it up. So, where will that finance come from if you don’t work?

Even evangelism and soul-winning are difficult because if you don’t work, how do you preach to an unbeliever when your clothes and shoes do not reflect the Jesus you preach about?

So, if the GS is saying he cannot pastor a broke church, you should not be angry. I don’t think you also want to remain broke. That statement is already a prophecy to those who work diligently.

Any believer that works hard knows that the GS is only prophesying with that statement: You will not be poor because you are his congregation. It is a lazy and poverty-stricken mentality to be angry with that statement.

Even the church is not unkind. That is why services are not scheduled on Monday mornings—it is expected that every wise believer should be at work. You are one of the reasons the people of the world say that the church doesn’t help its members—because you go to church too much and do nothing with your life.
