Exodus 10:10–11 MSG

[10–11] He said, “I’d sooner send you off with God’s blessings than let you go with your children. Look, you’re up to no good—it’s written all over your faces. No way. Just the men are going—go ahead and worship God. That’s what you want so badly.” And they were thrown out of Pharaoh’s presence.

The nation of Israel wanted to be free from the captivity of the Egyptians. One reason why they wanted liberation was so that they could freely worship God.

Pharaoh knew that the only way to have an edge over that nation was to let the fathers go and keep the sons. The sons of a man are the future of that man.

The plan of God is that you go to worship, your sons go to worship, and your daughters go to worship.

If your children can understand chemistry and sciences, they can be taught the ways of God.

If your children can be fans of secular celebrities, they can worship God.

If, as a parent, you are the only one going to church, while you leave your children at home and even tell them to take care of the house, after a while, you will discover that the devil can use them to scatter the very house you are building.

It was a captor that wanted the children to remain at home, but today, we are the ones keeping our children at home.

Until your children serve God with you, your family is not safe.

Until your child serves God with you, your future is not protected.

Until your children serve God with you, Satan will destroy your harvest.

Satan may not stop you from going to worship, but he will stop you from going with your children.

Make a decision today to go to the place of worship with your children!
