“‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’” Jeremiah 33:3 AMP
Many believers today pray—yes, I know. We pray and pray, but once we are done, we just leave our secret place without waiting to hear what God has to say in return. When we pray, we communicate with God.
Communication is not a one-way or one-person activity; it involves two or more parties. This means that when we speak to God in prayer, we must understand that we also need to hear Him speak to us.
Trust me, sir, there are many fervent believers today whom God needs to speak to—give a word to, or lay out an instruction for. However, they are only available to speak but unavailable to be spoken to.
God is reminding someone today that all you have been doing in your secret place is talking and talking. “ALLOW ME TO SPEAK TO YOU.” This is the word of the Lord to someone this morning.
As today’s scripture in Jeremiah says: “CALL TO ME.” This is where many believers are today. You just call to Him and leave your secret place, and this is why your life does not look like what you prayed for.
There is another part that says: “AND I WILL ANSWER YOU, AND TELL YOU [AND EVEN SHOW YOU] GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS.” Child of God, according to this scripture, we must understand that when we call on Him in prayer, He will also answer and reveal (even show) many things we do not know.
So, sir, you see that it is you who are not letting God speak to you—not because He doesn’t want to, but because you do not give Him the opportunity, or perhaps you do not know He also speaks.
From now on, after your prayers every morning, learn to bask in His presence for at least 15 minutes without saying a word.
Let God speak to you. According to the scripture, this applies to your life, because at the end it says: “EVEN THINGS YOU DO NOT KNOW AND UNDERSTAND AND CANNOT DISTINGUISH.” This is true. There are certain things in your life right now that only God can explain to you. Let Him speak, sir.
Some of you will return to your secret place today, and God will speak to you because now you know that you have been the only one talking.
This morning, I lift up the rod of the Apostolic and the Prophetic, and I decree by the mercies of God that you will hear God speak clearly to you in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
I come in the name of Him that sent me, and I decree that your ears are opened by fire in the name of Jesus.
Be connected to the frequency of the Father in Jesus’ Mighty Name, I pray. Amen!
