“For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].” —1 Corinthians 2:16 AMP

We are made or destroyed by our belief systems. Anyone who must attain great heights, touch the corridors of wealth and influence, gain maximum success in their endeavors, and even take the name of Jesus to the nations must have the belief system of Christ. Please take note of the word “MUST”—because it is non-negotiable.

Many of us today have seen the superior versions of ourselves as revealed by God, but we may never evolve into that version if we do not have the mind of Christ. You may carry power, but the results will only be fully seen when you have the mind of Christ.

In this generation, there is a rush for premature manifestations without first developing the mind of Christ. This is why we see so many arguments and a desperate need to prove points outside the assignment of God.

Having the mind of Christ requires constant and never-ending growth, beginning with learning and studying. The Bible tells us:

“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” —Luke 2:52 NLT

This means that the results you desire must first come from a transformed mind—one that grows and develops in knowledge. Only then can the mind of Christ find full expression in you and bring about the results and manifestations you need.

Simply saying, “I have been told to have the mind of Christ,” without paying attention to the details of what that truly requires, is still a waste of time.

Having the mind of Christ by decision alone is not enough. You must live the mind of Christ and intentionally exemplify its principles.

Saying, “I am a rich man,” is not enough if all you do is sit at home pressing your phone all day, watching social media, and laughing.

Saying, “I will gather the nations for Jesus,” is a good mindset in Christ, but it is still a waste of time if all you do is wait for the day of manifestation without taking the necessary steps to make it happen.
