“Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.”

In the natural, one way you know you are unwell is that you will lose your appetite.

The moment a person is sick, bring his best meal, and you will be shocked at how he would look at it with disdain. The same food that previously made him excited, he would look at as though it is nothing.

This is also how it is spiritually. If, as a believer, you have lost your hunger for prayer, your hunger for the Word, or your hunger for the supernatural, already, you should know that something is wrong.

In fact, if you ever get to a place where you lose your hunger for going to church, you are already backsliding. The Bible makes it clear: do not forsake the coming together of the saints. If church no longer interests you, something is wrong.

God can give you fire. God can give you His presence, but it is you that determines the measure you collect. You are the one to determine how hungry you can get.

The prophet told the widow, “Gather not a few.” Anywhere the widow stopped, that is where the supply stopped. Anywhere your hunger stops, that is where the manifestation of God in your life ends.

Jesus was walking on water, and among the people there, only Peter desired that dimension, and he was the only one who got it. There are dimensions people walk in; it is not because God is partial, but because they were hungry for it.

I want you to be hungry for souls, be hungry for miracles, and be hungry for the hand of God! I need you to get really, really hungry!

No matter how much food is in a buffet, if you eat beyond a certain level, you will be seen as uncultured. Jesus is not like that. Jesus will not call you uncultured if you keep coming.

Men may call you ambitious, but Jesus will give to you as many times as you come to Him.
