JEHOVAH EZER — THE LORD MY HELP

(HOW TO ACCESS HIS HELP)

Good morning, God’s people. The Lord is our help and mighty strength, in Jesus’ mighty name!

Today, we continue on how to access the help of Jehovah Ezer. I have a word of encouragement for someone this morning: YOUR HELP HAS COME, in Jesus’ mighty name.

I have given us two keys to access Jehovah Ezer already. Today, I will give us the remaining keys.

3. THE KEY OF FAITH

Child of God, listen to me. This is the key that moves Heaven.

Many people cry for help, but they do not believe that help can come or that help has come. Child of God, you must understand that tears don’t move God; FAITH moves God.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

You can pray to Jehovah Ezer for 10 hours, but if you stand up and say, “Can I even be helped?” Hello, sir, you are just signing the documents to cancel your help.

Let me show you a man who used this key in 1 Samuel 30.

David came back, and everything was gone. His wives had been taken, the city was burnt, and his own soldiers wanted to stone him.

But the Bible says in 1 Samuel 30:6 that David was greatly distressed, BUT David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. Child of God, that is faith!

You must understand that his eyes saw ashes, but what his heart saw was help. He did not sit down crying; he ran to Jehovah Ezer and asked, “Shall I pursue?”

And God said in 1 Samuel 30:8:
“Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

Can you see that THE KEY OF FAITH turned David from a victim to a recoverer because he believed God for help?

Child of God, let me tell you this:

FAITH DRAWS YOU CLOSER TO HELP AND DRAWS THAT HELP TO YOU.

4. THE KEY OF OBEDIENCE

You can pray, and you can have faith, but if you disobey instructions, help will hang in the air. I tell you this by God.

Have you not read your Bible in Isaiah 1:19?

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”

There is no negotiation about this, sir. Let me show you another verse of the Bible.

Deuteronomy 28:1:
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God…”

Understand that this Bible passage already lets you know that the only way your help will come to pass is that you do what? You obey.

Partial obedience is still disobedience. Delayed obedience is still disobedience.

Have you read about THE WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH in 1 Kings 17:8–16?

There was famine in the land. This widow had only one last meal, which was a handful of flour and a little oil, for her and her son to eat and die. Then Prophet Elijah came and said, “Make me a little cake first.”

You know, in a literal sense, one reply would be, “Hello, sir, this is our last meal o. We can’t give you.”

But THE KEY OF OBEDIENCE SAYS: OBEY.

The Bible says in 1 Kings 17:15:
“And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.”

And verse 16 says:
“And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail.”

Child of God, HER OBEDIENCE ACTIVATED SUPERNATURAL HELP.

One act of obedience turned her last meal into a three-year supply.

If she had argued like some of us would: “Prophet, you don’t understand my situation,” I tell you by God, she and her son would have died that day.

Jehovah Ezer was already in her house in the form of flour and oil, but it was her obedience that made the oil flow without end.

CHILD OF GOD, WHAT DOES OBEDIENCE LOOK LIKE TODAY?

Jehovah Ezer may be telling you:

  • Give: Give that seed that looks like your last.
  • Forgive: Forgive that person so God can help you.
  • Move: Leave that place, that job, or that wrong relationship.

The question now is: What has God told you to do that you have not done?

Do it.

Good morning, THE BELIEVER!

HAPPY TUESDAY!
