JESUS AND THE TWO THIEVES

Luke 23:32 NLT
Two others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with him.

The scripture tells us about the two thieves that were neighbours on the cross with Jesus.

This was a very easy opportunity to receive salvation, it was the easiest way to get into the kingdom. They had the privilege of access to God directly yet one was not discerning.

The first thief decided to be sarcastic, he decided to throw tantrums at Jesus, he failed to realize that even on the cross, Jesus was still Jesus.

God allowed the thieves to encounter him at the cross yet one did not take advantage of it.

When your helpers look like you at the moment, do not be blinded into dishonouring them. They are only like you for a while so that God can use that opportunity to secure your future.

The other thief recognized that even though Jesus is on the cross with him, he is still Lord. That understanding secured his destiny in eternity.

Jesus is still Jesus even on the cross.

Joseph still has a destiny even in the prison.

David will still be king even in Adullam.

Men are not great because of where they are, they are great because of who they are.

Recognize greatness when it does not look like it and honour it, this is how we guarantee our tomorrow

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.

The Shift Has Come
