John 15:16 EASY
You did not choose me, but I chose you. I chose you to go and to make plenty of fruit. That kind of fruit will continue always. For that reason, the Father will help you with anything that you ask him. If you ask him in my name, he will do it for you.

In the earthly ministry of Jesus, he will always say whatever you ask the father in my name, you will get it. He made same statement in John 14;14.

You may not really understand the meaning of this statement, by God’s grace today we get perspective into it.

Jesus is the accepted of the father. It means that the only sacrifice that God will accept as a condition for showing mercy is Jesus.

Isaac in the scripture had two sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau was the beloved and accepted of the father, this is why when Jacob wanted to get the blessing, he did not show up as Jacob, he had to come in the person of Esau to receive the blessing of Isaac. Esau and Jacob are both legitimate sons of Isaac but Esau was accepted of the father.

This is also true with Jesus, to receive of the father, you have to come in the person of Jesus because Jesus is righteous, blameless and the accepted of the father!

If I give you my ATM card, the machine will recognize you as me as long as you have the card and the pin because you have come with my identity.

If you want things to work for you in prayer, come in the name of Jesus!
