But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way.

As far as life and destiny is concerned, you are not the only one sowing. You are not the only one investing, you are not the only one depositing. According to the nature of satan as exposed in scripture, satan is also sowing, investing and depositing.

When satan begins to deposit, if you have lost your guard and slept off you may think that Satan is contributing positively to what you are building. It will take time alone to reveal the intent of what the devil was doing. The Bible says the devil sowed damel, the weeds that looked like wheat. You may assume it is wheat, give it time. You will discover in truth that it is weeds.

This is why we shared that Satan masquerades himself as an angel of light on Tuesday. Everything he does looks positive at first glance until you look at it with the eyes of the spirit.

That job may be a seed, the contract may be a seed, the relocation may be a seed, the relationship may be a seed, the legitimate grudge may be a seed. Time will reveal satan as the planter of those seeds.

The issue now is, if we allow time be the only judge, satan will destroy us effortlessly. We would be at the losing end, only hoping on time and eventually always getting to know that God’s hand was not in those seeds.

We have to keep watch and discern. It may look like wheat but please sir look again. It may look like God but please sir, look again. That activity of sowing with you may look like help and partnership but please sir, look again. If you look again in prayer, in word study, in devotion you will discover that silly hand of satan the devil.

Today, again and again, pay the price to look again. Keep watch. Do not lose guard!
