“But this is not the way of life that Christ has unfolded within you. If you have really experienced the Anointed One, and heard his truth, it will be seen in your life; for we know that the ultimate reality is embodied in Jesus!”

What do you know about Jesus? How grounded are you in the Word of God? Can people see you and testify just like the disciples “these ones have been with Jesus”?

Some believers do not take their time to learn and know more about the guidelines for living from the one who created everything. It is true, we have free will to do whatever we want but when things go sideways we still blame God for the cause.

What you are doing now, can you find it in the character of Christ when he was on Earth?

You as a child of God with the Holy Spirit in you, peradventure what you are even doing is not written explicitly in the Bible as a sin. Does the Holy Spirit in you not condemn you in your heart on your acts? If yes, retrace your steps to check where you got it wrong and amend your ways.

The love you claim to show, did you learn from Jesus our lead example? Jesus’ love was not just professed but also acted on, he lived it and died for it evidently.

Your giving, do you only give just so you can have more as promised in the scriptures or that the one receiving from you might be really blessed? Jesus’ giving was and is grace. Your giving should not be like a business, where you expect something more in return. Give gracefully, this is true way of giving.

Your prayer and study life, is it an emulation of Christ’s? Have you not read in the Bible where Jesus would leave the multitude just to have a quite time to pray and seek the face of God? (Mark1:35, Luke 21:37)

Jesus, during his lifetime on Earth lived an obedient life, prayerful life, word-studying life, life full of love and forgiveness. You can study the book of Mark to know more about the character and the life of Jesus.

PRAYER

Say; Father, I ask and receive the grace to live as Christ lived, exemplifying his giving, prayer-life, study-life, and his love daily as I live in Jesus name.
