Genesis 19:26 NIV
But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

God gave an instruction to Lot and his family to leave Sodom. He asked that as they leave they should not turn back.

God was to destroy Sodom so he asked that they should not turn back to Sodom in pursuit of the town or anything there.

Lot and his wife started leaving Sodom and a time came when the lust of Sodom overtook Lot’s wife that she just had to turn back.

The wife of Lot did not just turn back or face backwards, the wife of Lot actually returned to Sodom. She returned to a place of judgement against sin, she returned to a place of condemnation.

In Luke 17:32, Jesus for the first and only time spoke about the wife of Lot and it was a warning “… Remember Lot’s wife … “

Do not make the mistake of Lot’s wife. God has rescued you from Sodom, please do not turn back.

Do not return back to Sodom

Advance forward in righteousness

The word of God is simple

Luke 9:62 NKJV
But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Your hand is on the plow, please do not turn back.

The man that returns to Sodom is not fit for the kingdom of God!

I have decided to follow Jesus!

I have decided to leave the corruption of Sodom!

NO TURNING BACK!!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
