Luke 17:36 AMPC
Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.
Jesus is teaching about his second coming and to help out understanding he gives this very powerful analogy.
He said in the day of his return you will have two men on the field and one of them will be taken away.
Jesus is saying that there will always be two types of men. There would be men who have decided to stay in faith and follow him, there would also be men who will ignore the gospel that saves.
Not every man is compromising. Not every man Is turning his back on God. Not every man is in bed with sin, satan and the devil. In every generation there would always be men who will stand for righteousness.
Do not remain in the bondage of sin with the deceit that ” everybody is a sinner ” not everybody is a sinner. In fact, there are many who are your sin partners today that will get saved tomorrow without your knowledge.
The race is individual!
The race is specific!
Run your race and finish like that one righteous man that the Lord will meet on the field yet he is at his duty post in righteousness
Run the race like that one trader that the Lord will meet at the market yet she is at her duty post in righteousness
Run the race like that one Politician that the Lord will meet in a cabinet meeting yet he is at his duty post in righteousness
Run the race like that one doctor that the Lord will meet in a surgery table yet she is at het duty post in righteousness.
Jesus is saying it does not matter where I meet you, what matters is where you stand when I meet you.
The song writer once said ” I’ll do what he bids me no matter the cost, I’ll be a true solder I’ll die at my post “
This should be the anthem of every believer that has his mind made up to be with Jesus
In a world that men are decidong for Jesus and refusing to compromise, be that man on the field that Jesus will meet and take home!
Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
The Shift Has Come
