1 Samuel 1:14-17 NLT
“Must you come here drunk?” he demanded. “Throw away your wine!”

[15] “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the Lord.

[16] Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.”

[17] “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.”

On Tuesday we established that not all meetings are the same, there are meetings that can change your life forever, they are special meetings.

Shiloh was this special meeting for Hannah. This particular year she went before God wailing in sorrow over her childlessness.

Eli rebuked her for drinking and being drunk, Hannah did not make a scene, Hannah did not abuse Eli, Hannah did not call him out, Hannah humbly told him that she was not drunk, Eli put a blessing on her prayer and she had results.

In special meetings we avoid provocations, arguments, debates and distractions, we are completely focused on speaking to the Almighty God.

This should be your disposition this weekend.

Make sure you never lose concentration. This is how we get results!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
