“At last we have freedom, for Christ has set us free! We must always cherish this truth and firmly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.” — Galatians 5:1 (TPT)
Freedom is one of the greatest gifts Christ has given us. Through His sacrifice, the chains of sin, fear, shame, and condemnation have been broken.
What once held us captive no longer has authority over us. In Him, we are not defined by our failures, our past, or the lies of the enemy—we are defined by His love and His truth.
But Paul reminds us that freedom is not something to take lightly. We must cherish this truth. That means holding onto it daily, guarding it in our hearts, and choosing not to drift back into old patterns that enslaved us.
Freedom in Christ is not just a moment—it is a lifestyle of walking with Him, depending on His Spirit, and living boldly as sons and daughters of God.
The enemy will always try to lure us back into bondage—whether through guilt, temptation, or hopelessness—but Christ has already won the victory. Our role is to stand firm, refuse to surrender what Jesus has given us, and walk confidently in His grace.
This is the life God is calling us into: a life of true freedom, overflowing joy, and unstoppable purpose.
Invitation:
We’re excited to invite you to Youth Convention 2025, happening 29th–31st August! It will be a powerful time of worship, the Word, and encountering the freedom Christ has secured for us. Don’t miss this opportunity to gather with other young people, celebrate Jesus, and be reminded of the freedom we have in Him.
Let’s come together, stand firm in the truth, and live out the freedom that changes everything.
