“And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.”
1 Kings 17:4–6 KJV

The scripture above shows how God used a raven to feed the prophet Elijah, using an unlikely source to attend to the need of His servant.

Things to Learn from the Scripture

(1) God can use anyone and any means that is legal to help His children.

As seen in the scripture above, God used a raven, which is known to be a stingy and greedy bird, to feed His prophet Elijah.

(2) When God says something, He is more than able to bring it to pass.

The Lord instructed Elijah on what to do, where to go, and what would happen, and the prophet Elijah received the help.

As children of God, let us learn to trust in our God. He has promised us help in this month. He is not a man that He should lie. Has He said it? He will do it.

So, move with this in your heart: GOD WILL HELP YOU.
