Esther 4:16 KJV
[16] Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Weather was to go and intercede for the Jews before her husband, the king.

She had enough sense to know that even though her husband is king, it is not exclusively in her power to influence the decisions of the king. The Bible makes it clear that The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, As the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will ( Proverbs 21:1 )

So the heart of the king is not in the hand of his wife or in the pot of Jollof that she makes, it is actually in the hand of God. This was why God could toughen the heart of Pharaoh ( Exodus 4:21 )

So, Esther knew that even with her beauty she was unable to persuade the king, she had to go to the one who controls the king.

There are times that like Esther, you know the people that can help you, you even go a step further by having a relationship and direct access to that person but you must know that you cannot get favour or help without the intervention of God!

When you fast, you seperate yourself unto God.

In this season of fasting, make sure you are not deceived by the contacts that are available to you, be consecrated in this season.

Let God speak on your behalf, let God speak for you, let God fight for you!

Go into fasting and go into it with prayer. This is how men eventually enter into a glorious destiny

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.

The Shift Has Come
