1 Samuel 17:26 KJV
And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

Believer, please understand and understand very early that it is taking responsibility that ultimately makes you responsible.

David went to deliver supplies to his brothers when he started hearing the boastings of Goliath. David knew that no, I cannot stand here and watch this clown make a mockery of my people and our God, he decided to do something about it.

David was not trained in warfare, he was not invited to battle, he was at best a shepherd. Even the best of the best of men that knew the dynamics of warfare became jittery at the sight of the giant. Yet, David did not see defeat, he did not see the limitations of height, he did not see his people being conquered, he spoke from the place of victory from the very beginning and asked for a reward in advance.

You need to see victory ahead. You need to take the initiative and take responsibility. Nobody invited David but he knew he was needed.

Men that rise are men that know when to take up responsibility. Do not excuse yourself from responsibility. This is ultimately what makes you conquer in life and destiny.

The Goliath reward is for bringing Goliath down !
