THE DAILY BENEFITS

“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah.” Psalm 68:19 (NKJV)

When you serve the Lord genuinely, there is a daily investment of benefits He gives to you — I mean never-ending benefits.

It is not only money that comes to you; wisdom comes to you, favor comes to you, the loyalty of men — and I tell you, you can’t buy that with any money.

Child of God, let no one deceive you. I put it to you this morning: it pays to serve Jesus.

Let me make reference to today’s Bible text from a personalized angle. It says, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads me with benefits.

Follow me, sir, it did not end there. Let me show you the most important part of that verse: it says all this is sure, but from where? “The God of my salvation.”

Child of God, are you truly saved?

Is He truly the God of your salvation? Because so many believers say they do not see these benefits. But, child of God, yes — Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation.

Can you see that part? It did not say the God of actors (those just acting a script as believers).

It says the God of our salvation. Can you see why you do not get the daily benefits?

There is a daily benefit that no man can promise you, no man can produce.

There is a daily benefit that money cannot buy, that money cannot sustain.

It comes from the Lord, the God of your salvation.

Our fathers in faith went ahead because of this understanding. They knew — and not only knew, but lived — the life of a true believer who has a God (the God of his salvation).

There are certain things that prayer alone would not give you; a proper understanding of Scripture would give you that.

Because you begin to practice, affirm, and pray from a place of understanding.

How many genuine believers will join me this morning to affirm that Scripture and receive today’s benefit?

So now you know — you should not only have the knowledge of this Scripture, but you should also be receiving from it.

I say it again:

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads me with benefits, the God of my salvation. Selah!

Good morning, everyone.

Happy Friday!
