And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.

There was a day that Baal did not answer. There was a day that Baal did not respond. There was a day that Baal could no longer hear. There was a day that Baal was dispossessed.

Elijah took the prophets of Baal up for a challenge at the mountain. The rules of engagements were simple, you have pledged allegiance to Baal, I have pitched my tent with the Almighty God. If Baal is true let him call down fire.

The prophets of Baal must have thought, this is not a challenge, we have a medium with which we consult Baal. We know how we speak to him. There is a rule of engagement by sorcery and invocation that we compel and summon Baal. Trusting in what they had with Baal they summoned courage, at the risk of their life they took up the challenge of Elijah.

They did everything that they knew to do and probably for the first time, Baal could not respond. Eventually all of them were slaughtered.

You may say, I do not worship Baal? I do not bow to Baal? I have nothing to do with him.

Just as Baal did not respond, a day will come when everything you trust on will not respond. Everything you have built as a wall of defence, a day will come when it will disappoint you. Only Jehovah will never fail at any instance.

Woe to the man that puts his confidence in men, woe to the man who puts his faith, his confidence and his boasts in the chariots that is within his reach.

The day is coming when everything that looks like Baal for the first time will not respond. This is why you need to build a relationship with God!

Men that fly high are men that know the God of heaven. This is how they go through life permanently undefeated.

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.

The Shift Has Come
