The Economy of God’s Kingdom – (The Word of God Pt. 1)

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 KJV

A man of God once said that this generation wants to see mighty and dangerous dimensions of God, yet they want to do it outside His Word.

Many believers today do not study their Bibles; many do not even own a Bible to study. Many do not even know five scriptures from the Bible. This is the generation of believers we have today—prayers without the Word.

Sit tight; it is going to be quite a journey. The Bible is the Word of God in such a way that when the Bible speaks, God speaks.

1. No matter how much you can pray, child of God, you will find it difficult to hear Him if you are not rooted in His Word, because you might not even know when He is speaking.

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

2. You will not have a good foundation in the economy of God’s Kingdom outside the Word of God, because in the beginning was the Word.

3. You are losing a large part of God—a large part of the knowledge of God, a large part of what is with God—if you do not study your Bible. Why? Because the Word that is now with you, which you should study and be rooted in, was first, also, and still with God.

The proof of one thing we share with God is His Word. So, the one thing God has and I have is what? His Word.

Prayer is communicating with God, but His Word (the Bible) is what we share with God.

I look like God not because I can pray, but because I carry what is with Him too—His Word.

Just as blood connects physical parents and their children, the Word connects you and God. So, with this, are you a true (biological) child of God?

Child of God, the Word is God. Your relationship with God can be weighed by how much you study the Word, because the Word is Him.

Are you following me?

4. The expression and proof of God being with you—and how long He will remain with you—is His Word. A man who has lost his relationship with God did not first necessarily lose his prayer life. What did he lose first? The Word.

Some of you are like this—you can pray and pray. But I have a question: What is the template of your prayers? What is the understanding of your prayers?

There are many prayerful believers today who cannot study the Word even for 10 minutes. If you continue like this, even in the economy of God’s Kingdom, you will become a victim.

“The Word of God is like a lion. You don’t have to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself.”

If the Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path,

How then have you been seeing anything without the Word?
