The Economy of God’s Kingdom – (The Word of God Pt. 2)

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” — Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

The misconduct and mischief going on in this generation — even among believers — can be traced back to how much of the Word is in them.

How can you, as a believer, say you are the voice of unbelievers?

How can you, as a believer, defend actions that are against the will and instruction of God?

This is why, at the end of the day, we have many believers who pray a lot but have bad character, dishonest behavior, and incompetence at their places of primary assignment. Why? Because they have ignored the Word of God.

Let me show you a verse of the Bible in John 17:17 — “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” This was Jesus praying for the sanctification of His disciples through truth, saying, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.”

So, there is a tendency that your prayers will be a lie without the Word of God in your mouth.

Child of God, lies will prevail at your prayer altar without the Word of God.

Fornication will prevail,

Bad character will prevail,

And all manner of nonsense will prevail at your prayer altar.

The defense of a man at his prayer altar is the Word of God in his hands and in his mouth.

Have you heard this song? It says, “The word of God in my mouth, e dey what?… e dey work!”

Child of God, what works in your mouth when you do not have the Word of God?

The Word of God, in the economy of God’s Kingdom, is your guide and your map. So, when we hear you speak in this Kingdom, we can tell how much of the Word you carry.

Today’s Bible verse says,

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

1. The Word of God is the fastest route — anytime, any day.

2. A believer who has carried and sustained power is one rooted in the Word.

3. You cannot enter a dangerous room without the Word of God, because the question is: What do you know? The Bible says in Acts 19:15 — “And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?”

4. The Word of God pierces through the soul, spirit, joints, and marrow. Any believer who still speaks, defends, and acts against God’s principles in this generation is not a true believer.

I hope we are learning.

I will round off with this: You can’t do the will of God if you don’t know the Word of God.

Good morning, Child of God.

Happy Friday!
