The Economy of God’s Kingdom (The Word of God Pt. 3)

16) “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17) that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJV)

In this economy, the foundation of what God has promised is in His Word. This means that the manifestation of the promises of God in your life and for your life is inside the Word — you cannot access it without the Word.

It’s like saying to you that this beautiful mansion belongs to you, yet you do not have the keys to enter into it.

So, for many believers who have been complaining that despite prayers, it seems like the promises of God have not yet manifested — the question for you is:

“Do you know His Word?”

On what foundation do you expect His promises to be established?

Let’s look through the Bible text for today. It says:

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

1. You will never be knowledgeable, as far as the economy of God’s Kingdom is concerned, if you do not know the Word.

2. Even in this world of sin, you will not triumph without the Word of God. Your ticket to consistently walk and remain in righteousness is the Word of God. So, sir, you cannot tell me you live in righteousness without His Word. How?

3. You will not be ready for reproof or correction — whether you are right or wrong — without the Word of God. It is God’s Word that makes you know that “YOU ARE NOT IMPORTANT; IT IS JESUS THAT IS IMPORTANT.” What validates the importance of a believer is how much of Jesus (the Word) he knows and expresses.

Let’s go to verse 17. It says:

“That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

So the end result that God desires for the believer is that the man is made perfect — but this cannot be the reality of a believer who is not rooted in the Word.

Every time you find a believer — God’s child — in and out of season being triumphant, it is the Word of God in their mouth and in their existence that makes the difference.

The victory to overcome the world is in Jesus.

Understanding how to be victorious in Jesus and through Him is in His Word.

Good Morning, “THE BELIEVER.”
