Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

One of the most powerful gifts the Lord gave to us is the blood of Jesus. The blood is God’s strategy for exemption. It is God’s plan for redemption, reconciliation and exemption from judgement.

In the days of Moses, the blood on the door post of the people of Israel signifies a covenant they had with God. This is also how it is today.

The instruction at the time was to put the blood at the door post of your homes, today Jesus is asking that we drink of his blood ( John 6: 54 )

The drinking of the blood of Jesus is the acceptance of the gift of salvation. The blood saved them from physical death in the day of Moses but today, the blood saves us from eternal death.

It is the sacrifice of Jesus that makes us pure ( 1 Corinthians 5:7 )
This is why satan the accuser of the brethren cannot accuse the believer because Jesus by his blood has paid for our sins ( Colossians 1:14, Romans 3:24 )

The reason Jesus could forgive sin when he was on earth ( John 8:11 ) was because he was going to spill his blood to pay for that her sin.

There is a mystery in the blood. The blood represents life. God spilled his blood to give us life.

You will never be free or be in liberty if you have not appropriated his blood to your life.

The only way to receive that blood is to receive the very life of God!

When Jesus says drink my blood, he is saying receive my life!

This is the way of victory!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
