Revelation 19:10 NKJV
And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

One of the major gifts God gave man is the spirit of prophecy. The prophetic gift was so vital that when God became man he operated in it.

A believer that cannot give his life and family prophetic direction will either.

I) Be attacked by the devil: such believer will be a prey to the devil, the devil will plan strategize and execute without the consciousness of such believer.

II) Be stagnant: if the believer has no gift to prophetically discern what God is doing and the covenant relationships he should build, he may not be going backwards but he will not go forward.

Your Pastors are not your prophets. A prophet is a mouth piece, your Pastors are the mouth piece of God and not you ( Exodus 7:1 ) They are God’s prophet’s over you. However, you should be able to prophesy over yourself and hear God for yourself.

Jesus knew what was to come before he died ( Matthew 16:21, Matthew 17:22-23, Matthew 20:17-19 ) Nothing took Jesus unaware

Jesus knew the men he was to work with by name ( John 1:42 ) he also knew his role in their life ( Mark 1:17 )

He knew what was in the heart of those that hated him ( Luke 5:22 ), Jesus did not stop at this, he also knew what to do at the eleventh hour ( John 6:6 )

This is what the prophetic does for us. It will help you discern relationships, discern what God wants you to do in those relationships, it will help you to always know what to do, it will help you respond to challenges without sabotaging your destiny.

You should never be caught unaware, this was the life of Jesus.

The spirit of prophecy is a gift of God to us, you will only triumph in life of you embrace this gift. This is how we eventually WIN!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
