The God Who Forgives

“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.” Psalm 103:3 KJV

I know the devil has consistently told you: You did this, you did that. There is no forgiveness for you. He has consistently bullied you and forced his way into your thoughts because of your mistakes and certain acts of sin that you have committed. I know, sir, but I present to you the God who forgives.

I had prepared a totally different message for today’s devotion, but God said He needed to speak to someone as a matter of urgency.

The God who forgives is crucial to our walk as believers because we know that the wages of sin is death. I am sure this is what the devil has been constantly reminding someone of after a ferocious act of sin.

But this morning, I am presenting to you the God who forgives. Cry out to Him this morning, because even though you have wronged Him, He can still forgive you and set you free from the bondage you have put yourself in—and from the grip you have allowed the devil to find expression through.

Let me show you a verse from the Bible in Daniel 9:9: “To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him.”

Child of God, even though you have sinned, even though you have rebelled—there is truly a God who forgives.

I do not know why this feels very heavy this morning, but allow me to tell you this: “The only gate pass now is that God forgives you—and yes, He can. I know He is reaching out with this message this morning because He wants to.”

Child of God, call on the God who forgives. And when He forgives you, I have this advice for you: “Please flee every act and appearance of evil and unrighteousness.”

Good morning!
