Esther 4:16 NKJV
[16] “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”

The ministry of Intercession is a ministry that nobody overgrows

You can never be influential enough not to pray

You can never grow so big that you have no need for prayer. .

Every man must pray, this is not for fun, this is how we breathe.

The Jews were to be executed because of the vindictiveness of Haman but there was a queen in the land who understood the reason for her enthronement.

Esther was a Queen and she was also a Jew. Even though she was of Jewish origin, she never stood with the Jews. She did not keep their ritual, follow their custom or identify with them. This is because she was living in disguise.

If her people were killed, she would be exempted temporarily because nobody knew where she came from. But Esther knew that she did not become Queen for the sake of the title. She did not become Queen for the glamour of the office and it’s office, Vashti must vacate the throne for her because there is an agenda of God to save the Jews from extinction

Anytime God lifts men it is to advance his agendas. The lifting of men by God is to advance the purposes and interests of God!

Esther knew that even in her comfort she still needed to intercede. She was able to take responsibility in prayer. This is how it is in this kingdom.

It does not matter where you get to, once you have a problem that prayer will solve we do not just look for our phones we go in prayer.

Esther knew the king, she had access to him, yet she will not go to meet him without prayer.

There are times that you know everybody to call, you will be shocked how they will turn you down if intercession did not escort you.

I want you to never be too comfortable to overlook intercession. They will come for your people today, if you do nothing you will eventually become the next target.
