Exodus 8:1 KJV
And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

The devil that we have as our adversary is a very clever and cunning devil.

The devil may be getting your attention with an attack or setback, but, when you look further it is deeper than what you think.

God appears to Moses and tells him, tell Pharaoh to let my people go. Why? So they can serve me.

It means that the devil did not keep the people of Israel captive under Egyptian government for the fun of it.

The devil did not make the children of promise captive because he just wanted to have a good time watching them suffer and lament. That was not actually the goal.

Satan loves worship and he can do anything to get worship. When he gets worship he somehow thinks he is on the same pedestal as God.

Satan came to Jesus and one major thing he wanted from Jesus was worship.

Matthew 4:8-9 KJV
[8] Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

[9] and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

So, the captivity of the people of Israel was so they would not be able to worship and serve God. This is why God wanted them out of Egypt so they can function again in his presence. There is something about Egypt that stops the worship of Elohim. As long as they are stopped from worship, the devil is succeeding in keeping them in check.

You are either under the government of God or the government of Pharaoh. You cannot mix the two together, this is why Israel would only return to the worship of God when they leave Egypt

The agenda of Satan was to stop the worship of God, captivity was his tool.

You may have lost your job but satan wants your peace.

You may have lost your health but satan wants your joy.

You may have been barren but satan wants your worship.

You may have lost your possessions but satan wants your hallelujah.

This is why many entered into strong satanic covenants because they wanted their losses restored and satan agreed to restore in exchange of worship. So, they and their family entered into worship.

Satan can give anything for worship.

He can give you the whole world for your soul.

Look through your struggles today and decide that satan will not take my peace, my joy, my worship and my hallelujah!

God can still bring you out of Egypt.

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
