And the Philistine drew near and presented himself forty days, morning and evening.

Words are extremely powerful and potent, this is why everybody that conquers men know how to talk and use their words.

Even in sports, when there is a boxing competition, the boxers will boast and boast and boast. They will use words to describe how they will beat up and defeat their opponents. They will make sure they have spoken so much to get you demoralised, this is ultimately the only way they can be victorious over you.

This is exactly what Goliath did. For forty days, Goliath will come to the camp of the Israelites to harass them with words, he would talk and talk, boast and boast, every single day. Fully grown men, trained for war, with the technical know how of battle stayed in the training camp and would come out, sit down, everyday. Just to hear the boasting of Goliath.

They heard Goliath so much that they knew there was no point fighting him. They were not interested in confronting him. There was something they heard that made them his captive even before battle.

You see, but I love David!

David was a delivery guy that came to deliver food and heard the boasting of Goliath just once and he was determined to bring him down!

David was not interested in hearing the nonsense of Goliath for a second day, just one day and he said no, I must bring the head of the man down!

You have been hearing the lies of Satan. Satan’s power is altering your convictions. It is time to reply the devil and send him back to hell. It is time to use words to fight words.

In this kingdom we do not use tears to respond to words, we do not use begging, we appeal to nobody’s conscience, we respond to words with words. You must be fully persuaded.

If your mouth cannot move there is no mountain that can move!

The way of a victor is a way of speaking!
