As a ministry we have began our weekly long annual prayer and fasting. It’s important that we set certain things straight as we wait on God in this season.

A very fundamental reason why we fast is because we want to detach ourselves from the noise around us and spend time listening to God.

Jesus was scolding his disciples for their unbelief, one of the cures of unbelief is to go on a fast. That kind of unbelief will only leave by prayer and fasting.

How can a fast Improve my fast? Very simple. When you fast you are opening up your spirit to receive God’s word. The Bible says faith comes by hearing and the hearing of God’s word ( Romans 10: 17 )

The more you hear, the more you faith. If you want to increase faith you must increase the word of God that you hear

If it is within your means, find time within this fast to truly commune with God, pray and fellowship with him. The fast is not a hunger strike, it will not produce for you if you take it lightly.

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
