John 8:32 NKJV
[32] And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

This is a word of Jesus that speak in volume as to how we can know the truth and how that truth can give us eternal liberty.

When Jesus speaks of the truth, he is not speaking of the truth in the context of truth and false. He is also not speaking of the truth within the context of making a genuine statement

The Truth as revealed by Jesus is in fact Jesus himself. The truth is not a statement, the truth is a person, JESUS IS THE TRUTH.

John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Essentially, Jesus is saying that it is based on our knowledge of him that we are set free.

Jesus did not come to point us to anything or any person, he was the one that the entire scripture points us to.

You have not encountered the truth if you have not received Jesus, that is the truth that saves you from hell and eternal destruction

Jesus himself told us how to find and know him as the truth in scripture

John 8:31 NKJV
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

There are platforms to encounter Jesus as the only truth, it is abiding in his word. Staying in his word, fixing your gaze on the word, over time you will be transformed, you will be shaped and you will come into discipleship. This is how to know him by encounter.

Be careful of any Jesus that you did not encounter in the word and discipleship, it will be a packaged Jesus that will destroy you.

The call today is to know the truth and come into it.

This is the way to eternal life !
