All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Jesus gives us an instruction that will permanently keep us in check and in the faith.

There are many ways to stand in this kingdom, there are many ways to keep yourself from unrighteousness, there are many ways to mirror God as he really is.

One of the most potent ways is to watch and to pray.

The day you stop watching, the day you are no longer conscious of your environment and the agenda of the devil over your destiny, without your consciousness you will start drifting away gradually.

If satan really wants to get you, he attacks your consciousness.

The way satan typically gets your attention is by distraction. This is why, if you enter a bus for instance and someone really wants to steal from you, his first agenda is not to get into your bags, he will first occupy your mind.

He may bring up conversations, cause altercations and while you are busy trying to understand the situation, your valuables have been compromised. It is the same thing with the devil.

If you are not careful and conscious, the devil will bring up many things to derail you.

Eve did not fall when she rebelled against God, she fell the moment she started understanding satan.

This is why Jesus never got to a point where he took to attention the words of satan, he always responded with the word.

When Satan comes against you with words, it is foolishness to respond in logic. In this kingdom, words answer to words and it is the person with the last word that prevails.

I want you to be watchful in this kingdom. Sniff distractions from afar. Sniff temptation from afar. Come into the understanding of the methods of the devil. This is how to prevail against him.

It takes knowledge and discernment to identify the devil, in ignorance, the devil can be to you, an angel of light.

You will WIN!
