The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.

The Bible places a major emphasis on prayer as a prescribed pathway to communicate and fellowship with God. Throughout the scripture we see the teachings and the power of prayer.

Many have interpreted prayers along different lines but in truth, one reason people pray is to get answers. Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6 encourages us to present our requests to God in prayer.

As much as God is committed to answering prayers that are according to his will, God is actually more interested in the state of your heart than the words of your mouth in prayer.

You will get answers to prayer faster when you consciously become upright. God will not boycott uprightness and answer your prayer because he does not reward evil.

By all means, be upright. A 200 days fast and many hours in prayer is a wasted labour if you are not upright.

Fix your heart, fix your character. Become consistent and upright and see God answer you even before you pray.
