“A fool is in love with his own opinion, but wisdom means being teachable.” Proverbs 12:15 TPT
Good morning and happy new month once again! I welcome us all with God’s mercy to the month of THANKSGIVING.
This month, as the Lord has instructed, we will learn about the wisdom of God a few more times. Today, we will focus on The Wisdom of God (Character).
One of the biggest deficiencies among believers and within the body of Christ today is character.
Many of us behave so poorly as believers that even outside the body of Christ, no one truly wants to identify with us. Why? Because we do not exhibit the wisdom of God.
Over the years, some of us have claimed that nobody loves us, nobody understands us, nobody wants to help us, and no one is interested in what we do. But, sir, if you take time to examine yourself, you may realize that you do not possess the wisdom of God in the way you behave.
Do not be deceived, sir. Just because you can pray does not mean you have good character. This is something we need to understand. That you can fast does not equate to having good character. That you attend church regularly or serve as a worker in your church does not automatically mean you have good character.
Many of us today are choristers, ushers, protocol officers, media personnel, or hold other important roles in our churches, yet we have terrible characters and behave poorly. These things will only become more difficult and detrimental over time if we do not cultivate the wisdom of God.
The day you truly understand that the wisdom of God transforms your personality and character will be the day you begin to desire it.
Many of us teach the Word but have bad characters. I can tell you, sir, that the way some of us act drives people away from salvation and fellowship with Christ.
Child of God, I know you can pray. I know you can fast. I know you can teach. I know you think you know so much. But, sir, work on your character. Even God, whom we pray to, needs people to bless you and answer your prayers.
If the people God wants to use for you do not like you because of your bad character, who will God use for you?
Please, do not deceive yourself any further. Ask for the wisdom of God to transform your character. Be teachable and willing to learn.
As I prepared for the year 2025, God told me something profound: Your good character, coupled with the wisdom of God, will be a great advantage for you.
Your prayers are answered, sir, but you need to change your character. If the men God will use do not like you because of your bad behavior, your blessings may be delayed.
Some of us behave badly, and when corrected, we go online to search for quotes to justify our foolishness. Going into 2025, let us change.
So, as much as you can pray, sir, behave well.
This is the Wisdom of God.
