For the Lord will pass through to slay the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood upon the lintel and the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to slay you.

God gave Pharaoh many signs, these signs were to force him to release the people of Israel out of Egypt. After he had hardened his heart consistently, God decided to kill all the first borns in Egypt.

God had to find a way to separate the Israelites from the Egyptians so he gave the Israelites an instruction, put the blood at your door post, when the angel of death comes, he will pass over your house.

As powerful as that is, the security of the Israelites was in separating themselves from the camp of the Egyptians.

If an Israelite left the place where mercy was allocated and went to sleep over at the house without blood, he would have been destroyed.

It means that the covenant operates by territory. If you are in a place that is not covered by the blood, you have no security. You may be a good person, you can be a Jew, you can be in the covenant, but if you are in the house of the Egyptian, you can still be a victim.

You can be a good man, you can be a child of the covenant, but if you are in a wrong company, the judgement of that company will befall you

The Bible makes it abundantly clear

Proverbs 13:20 AMPC
He who walks [as a companion] with wise men is wise, but he who associates with [self-confident] fools is [a fool himself and] shall smart for it. [Isa. 32:6.]

Make sure that in everything that you do, you are not in the tent of the Egyptians, you are not with their horses and their riders. Make sure that you are not feasting with Pharaoh when divine judgement is executed.

You must at all cost protect your company. Do not join yourself with those that despise God, do not join yourself with men that hate righteousness, do not join yourself with those that advance the frontiers of iniquity and injustice.

If God have seperated you from wicked men, do not desire their company and companionship.

Men get preserved by staying where the blood is. If you do not understand that you should be at where Jesus is, your life will be a casualty and a lesson on how not to live life!

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
