Luke 17:15-19 AMPC
Then one of them, upon seeing that he was cured, turned back, recognizing and thanking and praising God with a loud voice;
[16] And he fell prostrate at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him [over and over]. And he was a Samaritan.
[17] Then Jesus asked, Were not [all] ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
[18] Was there no one found to return and to recognize and give thanks and praise to God except this alien?
[19] And He said to him, Get up and go on your way. Your faith (your trust and confidence that spring from your belief in God) has restored you to health.
It is our season as a church of More and More. Today, I came to remind as many as may have forgotten that there can be more.
Despite the level of results and excellence you see, there can be more. Despite the wisdom and manifestations you see, there can be more. According to the integrity of the word of God, there can be more.
You may be comfortable moving because you are crawling, but there is more speed in movement when you walk, you may be walking but there is more when you run, you may love running but there is more when you fly.
Even Greatness has categories. The Bible says Abraham was Great (Genesis 18:18) when Isaac came, the Bible said Isaac was very Great (Genesis 26:13). Isaac waxed and grew in greatness until he was very Great. As if this was not enough, when the Bible was to describe Jacob, the Bible said Jacob was exceedingly Great (Genesis 30:43)
There is a higher dimension of what you have that God can take you to. God can give you more.
In our main text today, Jesus entered a city and healed 10 lepers. After reporting to the priest only one came back to say thank you. Ah, Jesus saw him and asked, where are the rest? Alright, because you have come I will give you more than I gave them. He made the man whole. Healing can take away the symptoms, wholeness will give you recovery.
There is more to healing but it comes when you have the habit of saying Thank you.
The reason why many are not seeing More and More is because they have a habit of grumbling and complaining. You owe God thanks, give him thanks!
Your car spoils on the road, do not cry, praise God. They looted your property, do not curse God, give him praise.
When you Praise at your level God is committed to multiplying what you have.
Jesus had more when he gave thanks over the bread and two fish. The abundance was so much that it fed over 5000 men with left overs.
Today, tomorrow, and throughout your life, you should always say, Father, I thank you!
Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
The Shift Has Come.
