“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” —Ephesians 2:10 AMP
Good morning, child of God. Today, I will just touch on a few things and also point out some things, but after the convention, I will teach fully about value.
The dictionary defines value as:
• The regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
• Principles or standards of behavior.
Let me point out a few things this morning:
1). Some of you are valuable enough to be commended but not rewarded. We can clap for you because of the value you carry, but it is not exceptional enough to be rewarded.
2). Some of you are very valuable, but you have the wrong audience. The Bible tells us that Joseph interpreted three people’s dreams. Two of them did not have the power to help him, but when the king dreamt, the same man with the same value and gift became a prime minister.
Child of God, it matters who you are surrounded with. It is a dangerous thing to be surrounded by people who cannot recognize your value. Sir, I tell you, one may never rise.
I have not even started the teaching, but I know some of you are already beginning to understand what has been the problem with you for so long.
3). Some people are not valuable at all.
So now, the problem is not that you do not have good people who recognize value around you, or that you are only commended but not rewarded. The problem is that you have no value at all.
I know you are wondering how, but I will dwell more on this after the convention.
Let me ask you a question: Beyond the degree, what else do you have?
• Where is your value system?
• What is your value system?
• Do you have character?
• What principles or protocols are in place for you?
• Who do you listen to?
• Who do you submit to?
I know you think you know the answers, but please, answer yourself again today.
Let me round off with this: There is so much that you can give value and still not be valuable. Please, believers, do not just give value—be valuable.
Good morning once again.
