“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
Let me borrow a phrase from the Gen Z generation that says, “the pressure is getting worser.” I know—but let me leave you with this word of knowledge: No matter the pressure, we will wait on the Lord, and in Jesus, we are getting stronger.
I know many of us are in seasons we do not fully understand—seasons where even our hard work does not seem to translate into excellent results. Child of God, no matter what may come, I come with an admonition by the rod of the prophetic: WAIT ON THE LORD.
Now let me say this, child of God—waiting on the Lord does not mean that God is constantly speaking.
Even in your period of waiting, GOD CAN BE SILENT.
Yes, sir, God can be silent. But when God is silent, don’t be in a hurry to suggest what He is saying. The silence of God is also a language—you must learn how to interpret it.
Let me round off with this:
Your time of waiting is when the devil will try to slip into your thoughts and begin to suggest things to you.
Do not believe the lies of the devil.
Shut him out, and wait on the Lord.
Good morning, child of God, and happy Wednesday.
