“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!”

Psalms 27:14 NKJV

Let me continue today’s teaching with this word of knowledge: He who waits on the Lord loses no time.

Child of God, I understand that you have planned your life the way you want to live it. You have beautiful dreams that you have mapped out and steps on how to achieve them. But, child of God, we must never forget that no matter how beautiful your plan is, God’s plan for you surpasses it. Wait on the Lord.

When the Lord is clearly asking you to wait, do not focus on the fact that your friend has gone ahead in achievements, results, and connections. I told you at the beginning of today’s teaching that he who waits on the Lord loses no time.

I know it may feel like time is no longer on your side, but I come with a word from God this morning: Wait on the Lord — His word is coming to you.

When the word comes, some of you — in just a few months — will catch up as though you started five years ago. You will see the grace for speed and favor rest upon you.

The solution is not measuring how far you think you should have gone. The solution is not using your friend’s accomplishments to measure how much you have not accomplished. The solution is trusting the Lord who has asked you to wait.

Some of you will keep trying and failing — not because you are not putting in effort, but because you have ignored God’s instruction to wait.

I know your best friend heard God tell them to move and start, but did God tell you the same thing?
