“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

An Ambassador is a representative of a nation in a foreign country. He is an embodiment of authority, speaking on behalf of his nation. 

To be Ambassadors for Christ means that we are his diplomatic agents of the highest rank sent to represent King Jesus and authorised to speak on his behalf.

We are the voice of heaven to the earth invested with royal power through the name of Jesus and authority of his blood.

Dr. Myles Munroe speaking on what an Ambassador is, paraphrased, It is not a person, it is a kingdom. This means, when people see you, they see the kingdom you represent and not you.

If you are an Ambassador for South Africa for example, and you go to China, what the people of China will see is the whole of South Africa in you. If a strand of your hair is touched in an harmful way, that would mean China placing harm on South Africa, which would make them come all out against China.

What it means is that you have the backing of Heavenly Host as Christ’s Ambassador, no man or nation of this Earth can defeat you.

Also, as soon as you become an Ambassador, all your needs and wants are automatically in the care of the nation you represent. Surrender your life totally to Jesus and he will take care of you.

““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭25‬,‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is Jesus speaking, instructing us not to worry about these things for they have been provided for, look at what he said next;

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As an Ambassador of Christ, your priority is the business of the Kingdom of God, every other thing comes secondary.

Prayer

I affirm today that I am Christ’s Ambassador, I represent the Kingdom of God wherever I find myself. I exercise my God given authority through Christ Jesus speaking the mind of God in every situation. I need not to worry for all my needs are met and adequately provided for in Jesus name I affirm. Amen.
